Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine and Menstrual Hygiene Talk at Baromohanpur Bhagabati Devi Shiksha Niketan, Belda, Midnapore
RCCP has previously worked with Baromohanpur Bhagabati Devi Nari Kalyan Samiti, a local NGO of Belda, Midnapore.
The NGO runs a school and a Teachers Training centre at Khakurdah, Belda. They had approached RCPP for installation of 2 sanitary napkin vending machines for the convenience of their students and staff.
On 9th Sep, one Sanitary Napkin vending machine was installed in the school. The second for the Teachers training centre will be installed in Oct.
RTN. Dr. Kaushik Sil delivered a lecture Menstrual Health and Cervical cancer awareness. It was attended by ~150 girl students of Class 7-10. It was extremely well received and was very interactive with lots of questions.
The project was successfully led and conducted by RTN. Dr. Kaushik Sil.
