Rotary club of salt lake metropolitan & RC Srirampur organized District MATRI RAKSHA project to screen , Diagnose & treat Anaemia amongst women .

Awareness talk about Anaemia and Menstrual problems done followed by free Testing of HB , Sugar, BP and consultation by Dr Aruna Tantia and free medicine to all beneficiaries as per advice of Dr.
Mrs Dola just 42 years was detected with Haemoglobin 9 gm% and high sugar for first time in spite of stopping her periods.
She hardly eats food rich in iron and was sensitized about it and given information booklet by Rotary .
Team left for kolkata by 3 pm
