Awareness program held on 23rd September and 24th September 2023,at Sandeshkhali, Sunderban
We arranged an awareness program at Sandeshkhali, Sunderban. 45 students, middle school students from remote villages of Tushkhali participated. The events included discussion of Ethics in daily life by Mr.Monotosh Mukherjee; "Child Trafficking at Sunderban " emphasizing on Cyber Crime shown as a documentary and explained by Rtn Santanu Banerjee and IC of Sandeshkhali Police Station Mr.Biswajit Sapui; "How To Arrest Child Labour" discussed by President Rtn D.C Ganguly; communicable diseases, especially Covid-19 and dengue, discussed by Rtn Dr. Tridib Sarkar; "Science in our everyday life" explained by Friend of Rotary Mr.Manas Banerjee and "Sounds of The World" discussed by Dr.Sumitabh Ghosh. President Rtn D.C Ganguly , Rtn Bela Basu, Rtn Mili Maitra, Rtn Chandana Kundu, Rtn Ananya Guha were present. Friends of Rotary included Mr.Manas Banerjee, Mrs.Rinku Banerjee, Lion Arabinda Guha.
