Thalassemia Awareness Seminar
R. C. of Calcutta Sun City jointly with R.C. of Calcutta Mega City (both part of District 3291) organized a Thalassemia Awareness Program at Basanti Devi College, Gariahat on 22nd September, 2023 at 2 P.M. Dr. Indrila Guha, Principal of the College inaugurated the Program. DGN Rtn. Ramendu Hom Chaudhuri who was the main speaker and two other members of Calcutta Sun City participated in the program. The speaker narrated the causes, conventional treatments, preventive measures and other related socio-economic aspect of this dreaded disease in a layman language. The audio-visual presentation was followed by an interactive session with the audience of about 250 college students and teachers. Overall response from the audience was overwhelming.
