Breast Cancer and Cervical Cancer awareness Program
Rtn. Dr. Apurba Ghose, Oncologist Surgeon, a member of Calcutta Sun City gave an audio-visual presentation to a hall packed with girl students from Jadavpur Sammilita Balika Vidyalaya. Doctor was supported by Rtn. Priyanka Ghose who was explaining in details in simple language to the audience to ensure that students have correct understanding of the message. Self-examination method was demonstrated to the girl students for early detection of Breast Cancer as it is the only way to survive from this dreadful disease. There was more than 150 students and their teachers who were in the audience and were listening to the Doctor with rapt attention. The students were told to spread this awareness message in their families and friends for early detection of this dreadful disease. Rtn. Sreelekha Bera gave vote of thanks.
