Adi Ganga ENVIRONMENT PROJECT, SAVE A RIVER/ AWARENESS PROJECT River Restoration Awareness Drive at 11 am on 26/ 09/23 as Concluding Program of week long Observance of World River Day.
Save Adi Ganga - the Program by Sabuj Mancha Kolkata District Committee on the final day of Week long Observance of World Water Day by different district committees at the different river sides in the state, was completed with a great success. The program was attended by associates and peoples caring for rivers and environment, large numbers of boys and Girls from the local schools and local residents. The Councilor of 83 ward Sri Prabir kumar Mukherjee and General Secretary of Sabuj Mancha Sri Naba Dutta stated all the works so far done to restore Adi Ganga and works yet to be done to restore Adi Ganga to its original biodiversity . The renowned river expert Prof Rabati Ranjan and environmentalist Sri Soumendra Mohon and environmental activist Sri Ashimananda Sri Abhijit Mukherjee, Sri Samir Bose and Sri Debasis Ray of Sabuj Macha placed their findings.
