READ IT ALOUD under Easy School-2 Program by RID 3291
READ OUT LOUD Program was rolled-out on 15 sept 2023 at Sharada Prathmik Vidyalaya , Bagh Bazar. The project addresses the inability of students in primary schools ( govt schools) from underpriviledged families by providing impetus and training reading books in Bengali and English and to create interest amongst them to read various types of book from text books to story books. The project has the following components
1. Provide illiustrated children books
2.Provide Library rack
3. Appointed a teacher atleast for 6 months to make the students practice reading using the books provided under the project.
4. The progress would be monitored using the ASER reading testing tool.
5. Our members have also committed their time in assisting the children to read over ateast in these 6 months project period.
This project has been initiated under literacy program: ‘Easy School 2’
