Thalassemia Awareness Seminar
A thalassemia awareness seminar was held at Taki Government Sponsored Girls School on 13.09.23 at 2 P.M. It was jointly hosted by Rotary Club of Ganga Heritage and Rotary Club of Calcutta Sun City. The main speaker was Rtn. Dr. Ramendu Hom Chowdhuri who spoke on the precautions to be taken by all to save their children from having this dreadful disease which is genetically transmitted by Parents to their child. He also spoke on healthy life style to be adopted by the children from this age to have a sound foundation of their health. Club President of RC of Calcutta Sun City Rtn. Anit Guhathakurta also spoke on this occasion.
