Teachers Day Celebration
In association with our Rotary Community Corps (RCC) at Bamangachi, we celebrated Teachers Day on Sunday, 10th September in a befitting manner.
An interesting Quiz programme was organised in which 15 students participated. The winner and runners up teams were awarded trophies, mementoes and other gifts. Our member Rtn Shantanu Chakraborty did a highly commendable job as the Quiz Master. He framed interesting questions and conducted the whole session in an engrossing manner. Our Secretary Tapasi Pal deftly helped with the proceedings.
After the quiz, local teachers were felicitated for their priceless contribution in shaping young minds of the area.
4 students who have scored the highest in Secondary & Higher Secondary Examinations this year from the area were also recognised for their achievement.
7 members from our club attended the event.
The entire programme was wrapped up by a sumptuous lunch arranged by Secretary Rakhal Das of our RCC.
It was a well spent Sunday.
