"Matri Raksha"- Fights Anaemia GG 1991152 - (Camp 24)
24th Matri Raksha Camp was held on 06.08.23 at 1 No. Kataganj, Kalyani, Nadia, Hooghly in association with RC of Aabhahamman Kolkata & organized by Kataganj Spandan Welfare.
Total 67 women got registered. Each women were screened their Haemoglobin and, Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure by our technical team and examined and treated all old women by our medical team Dr. Saktirupa Chakraborty and Dr. Debasmita Mukhopadhyay. The camp was managed by Prez Kusum Chamaria & Project contact Rtn Umaprasad Dutta.
Every woman was given free iron, deworming and calcium medicines for 2–3 months as prescribed along with nutritional booklet.
According to camp analysis 52 (78%) had haemoglobin level below 12 mg. /dl, 31 (46.2%) had severe anaemia (<10 mg.) and rests were normal.
