"Matri Raksha"- Fights Anaemia GG 1991152 - (Camp 23)
23rd Matri Raksha Camp was held on 30.07.2023 at Dishari, Salt Lake, DD Block, Kolkata - 700064 in association with RC of Calcutta Labanrhad in the presence of DGN Dr. Krishnendu Gupta, PDG Raju Rajgaria, PDG Sudip Mukherjee, PDG Shyamashree Sen, PDG Rajani Mukerjee, other guests and other rotary club members.
Total 47 women got registered. All women were screened their Haemoglobin and, Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure by our technical team and examined and treated all old women by our medical team Dr. Chitra Ray and Dr. Debasmita Mukhopadhyay.
Every woman was given free iron, deworming and calcium medicines for 2–3 months as prescribed along with nutritional booklet.
According to camp analysis, 22 (47%) had haemoglobin level below 12 mg. /dl, 13 (27 %) had severe anaemia (<10 mg.) and rests were normal.
