Eye checkup and cataract detection camp in RCC Kanthalberia
The first project of Rotary year 2023 -24, was held on 1st July at RCC Kanthalberia Suchetana Mahila Samity. A team of Victorians led by President Arvind Agarwal attended the project. The team reached Kanthalberia around 10am. Doctors and staff of Dakshin Barasat Eye Hospital were already checking patients. Our member Dr. O.P Agarwal checked a few patients too. Patients detected with cataract would be taken to Dakshin Barasat Eye Hospital after the camp, admitted for a day and returned the next day. The camp started at 10 am and went on till 2 pm. Free medicines and spectacles were also given out.
