Health Camp for Physically Challenged and Blind :- An initiative to care physically challenged and blind
On July 1, 2023, a health camp was organized in Bangur, Laketown, Kolkata, coinciding with Doctor’s Day. Aimed at providing healthcare services to physically challenged and blind individuals, the event catered to 38 beneficiaries who often face neglect and come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Two doctors, specializing in medicine and dermatology, conducted health checkups, prescribed medications, and offered further treatment suggestions. This initiative marked a significant opportunity for the participants to receive much-needed healthcare attention, leading to increased satisfaction and happiness among them. The event served as a crucial platform for addressing the healthcare needs of a marginalized community.
