NSS Balwadi School Painting Project
RCCP has a long-standing relationship with Nari Seva Sangha(NSS). The club was approached by Mrs. Chandana Majumdar of NSS, who looks after Sudhanjali Balwadi, a creche-cum-care-center for 25/30 children of domestic help. The children study and stay in the school when their mothers go for work. The school was in a pretty bad state. It needed a fresh coat of paint and some bright colourful wall paintings for the children to feel happy and cheerful. A pinter was employed to get the job done and the whole expense was borne by the club.
The smiles and happiness on the childrens face when they came back after theor break, was truly gratifying !
