Rice and clothes distribution in Taki on 20th August
On 20th August we have done one project at Rtd. Principal Mr. Khagendra Nath Adhikarys house which is located at Taki. He is a social worker . We donated Rs. 10,000 from our club for rice, generously given by our club members. We distributed 300 hundred kg rice to the underprivileged villagers. We did this project under our club banner. Our member Rtn. Ananya Guha (Project director- medical) also made arrangements for new sarees for the underprivileged women. These were donated by our Rotary friends Mr. Manas Banerjee and Mrs. Rinku Banerjee. Rtn. Ananya Guha also donated a large number of clothing that were used but in excellent condition for the villagers. Children were also given new T shirts. All donations for flood relief camp in the Basirhat Area organized by Mr. Khagendra Nath Adhikary. Rtn. Mili Maitra (Secretary) and Rtn. Ananya Guha were present.
