Eye Checkup and Doctors Day Celebration
Arunima Hospice is a Home which caters to children affected or infected with HIV/AIDS under a program called ‘Snehakunj’ child care where 56 less fortune children are taken care of whom are thrown out of their home due to social stigma. RC of Calcutta Majestic is associated with them since its inception and our partnership is now almost 12 years old. Arunima is our Flagship Project and this year Majestic took the responsibility of these 56 kids with respect to their healthcare, food, education along with other necessities. We started our year with Doctors’ Day on 1st July at Arunima Hospice where eye checkup was done for these 56 kids by Dr Raju Shrivastava. 20 spectacles were given to the children. Necessary medicine and protein supplements were distributed to the children of Arunima Hospice of their growth and betterment.
