Distribution of Educational Kits
Today 15.8.23 Members of RC Calcuua Sutanuti observed Independence Day with Children of Smile World Seva Mission in association with Jogendra Sporting Club at Kalighat. The slum community where the children live is a red light area and many of their mothers are still in the profession. 30 children were given literacy kits under Ee.zz.ee School Project 2 and to encourage the children to continue with their studies. One the patrons of Smile world Sea Mission is Addtl. Commissioner of Police Mr. Pinaki Chakraborty who was present during the Project.we were also happy to have with us Ms. Sumona and Mr. Rajdeep sponsored refreshment for the children. The program started with flag hoisting by the children. They also performed two dances to patriotic songs. We ended the program with distribution of the literacy kits, refreshments and singing of the National Anthem
