Dental Health and Healthcare Awareness Camp at Mitra Institution, Sealdah
A Dental health and healthcare awareness camp was conducted at Mitra Institution, Sealdah on Saturday, 12th Aug23 by Rotary club of Calcutta Pointers in association with Rotary Club of Calcutta Newbies. It was
held from 12-3pm. Close to 70 schoolchildren from classes 6, 7 and 8 were screened by Dr. Shamik Gope, renowned Maxofacial surgeon. Parallelly a Paediatric checkup was also performed by Rotarian Dr. Ritashri Mukherjee from Calcutta Newbies. Rotarian Dr.Kaushik Sil also gave a speech about the needs of correct posture in children to correct future spinal disorders. The children were very enthusiastic and asked numerous questions on the topics. All in all the event was a grand success.
