Area of Focus - Supporting the Environment
A tree plantation drive was executed at EC Park, Salt Lake.
Medicinal & other plants such as Amloki, Sheuli, Bel, Putranjiba, Nayantara, Boyra, Neem, Bishalyakarani, Baasak, Maha vringaraj, yajna dumur were planted in the well-maintained park.
The ward Councillor Smt Tulsi Sinha Roy inaugurated the event by planting the 1st tree and she praised Rotarys concern for our mother earth as we implement environment-friendly projects in large numbers.
Some of our members promised to visit the park periodically to oversee the maintenance of the trees planted by us.
