Eye check up in collaboration with National Institute of Homeopathy and Sankara Jyoti eye institute
Free eye-check up camps are being organized in collaboration with National Institute of Homeopathy, Salt Lake City and Sankara Jyoti Eye Institute (SJEI), New Town. The said vent started at 10am and continue till 2pm. 9 patients, including 5 females and 4 males, were detected for cataract surgery, including one patient with mild cataract symptoms. Most patients were above 60 years of age. All patients were further advised to go to SJEI for free surgery. Members attending the event were Rtn. Dinesh Chandra Ganguly (President), PP Rtn. Jnanendra Nath Ghosh, Rtn. Mili Maitra (Secretary), Rtn. Ananya Guha, Rtn. Bela Basu, Rtn. Anindita Sarkar, Rtn. Subijit Sarkar, Rtn. Chhanda Kundu and Rtn. Biswajit Saha. It was a greatly successful project. This being a sustainable project, free follow up treatment procedures, including spectacle distribution, shall also be provided in future.
