Dishari Sewing Training Centre, Nonadanga Bustee
RCCP open the second Dishari Sewing Training Centre at Nonadanga Bustee, near VIP Bazar, Kolkata. Through our contact in Singer, we soon came to know of the requirement here where economic opportunities are limited, and women often face challenges accessing education and employment. In collaboration with NGO Afflatus Foundation, the centre was opened to empower 10 women from the slum by providing them with sewing skills. This project aims to not only equip women with a valuable skill but also create opportunities for economic independence and personal growth and improved confidence and self-esteem among participants. acquire new skills and knowledge. At the end of the course, successful candidates will get “Skill India” certificates.
