Svatantra Shiksha, Right to Literacy Independence Day Project
Rotary Club of Calcutta South Central organised Svatantra Shiksha, a literacy drive for forty underpriviledged children from the slums on Independence Day. They were served with basic educational materials and food. The centre run by ALC Foundation has been adopted for continued service on a long run to cater to the needs of these 40 children. Members present were club president Rtn. Utsav Bhanja, Rtn. Koushik Banerjee, Rtn. Pasupati Sarkar and Rtn. Ashmita Paul.
