Rotary Club of Calcutta South Central (District 3291) has adopted a long term fundraiser project to help medical treatment of underpriviledged children suffering from life threatning diseases like heart, kidney and liver ailments. The fundraiser project has currently taken up a 14 year old girl child’s case to support her ongoing medical expenses in treating kidney damage. Under the leadership of current club president Rtn. Utsav Bhanja, all club members have agreed and donated towards the fund and have shown their commitments to reach a long term goal of increasing more beneficiaries.
The project was taken up on July 1, as a reflection of Doctor’s Day on the first day of Rotary year 2023-24.
