Thalassemia Testing and Awareness Program
Awareness program on thalassemia and its impact on the society was lucidly explained by the eminent doctors of Calcutta Medical college in Bengali language so that all the students can comprehend the subject. The place was Diamond Harbour Womens University so naturally all the students were female. It was an eye opener for them . Also arrangements were there for testing of Thalassemia carrier by the doctors of CMC and approx 120 students were tested free of cost.
