Menstrual Hygiene Awareness session at Institute of Academic Excellence
RCCP conducted this project in association with SAIRINDHREE, a local NGO and BACK TO LIFE FOUNDATION.
The Institute for Academic Excellence (B.Ed and D.El.Ed) college was established in 2012 and is run by SAIRINDHREE at Imampatna, Narayangarh, Paschim Medinipur. It also runs a Bengali medium secondary boarding school and nursery school at Narayangarh for needy students. It takes care of poor students education with 24hrs care, guidance and coaching. Present student strength is more than 800 in school and 300 in college at Narayangarh.
SAIRINDHREE requested for a lecture on Menstrual Hygiene in the school. RTN. Dr. Kaushik Sil delivered the lecture on Menstrual Health. It was attended by 150+ girl students of the college. It was extremely well received and was very interactive with lots of questions coming from the girls.
