Supporting study of poor girl child
Ashina Jubak Sangha, RCC member of the Rotary Club of Kolkata Benevolence, reached out to us regarding a heartfelt request. The father of a talented girl studying in Ashina village of South 24 Parganas near Falta, shared his story of being a tailor struggling with poverty & unable to continue his daughters education. Despite their financial hardships, his daughter excels academically and aspires to pursue the science stream for higher studies. However, he worries about affording the expenses associated with education & tuition fees.
Moved by their situation, our club unanimously decided to support Miss Sadia Kahtun in her pursuit of education in the science stream. We are committed to covering all expenses, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder her academic journey. We believe that by empowering Sadia, we are not only providing her with opportunities but also bringing the beacon of science & modern education to an underprivileged village, illuminating the path for others.
