Graduation Ceremony for the students of Sewing Class at our Interact School
Couple of years’ back we donated few sewing machines to Kalahrdaya, our club’s interact school at Nepalgunge, South 24 Parganas. The School set-up a Tailoring School. Over these two years number of students increased under tutor Ms. Snigdha Mondal. To cater the increased demand we donated another machine early current Rotary Year 2023-24. Today the school authority in collaboration with RC Calcutta South Circle handed over certificate of merits to the successful students for 2022-23 and 2023-24. The students demonstrated how they were thrived to self-sufficiency on economic front through learning of creative stitching products for a successful marketing opportunity. This is how our club has been always emphasising on ‘sustainability’ by adding more value to our beneficiaries as continuous efforts.
