Batighar Pathshala Rental Support Project
Batighar Pathshala is an informal education set up run by NGO Jadavpur Bondhu Collective Welfare Society for children staying in the red-light area of Kalighat. RCCP helped Batighar Pathshala with setting up an infrastructure with modern equipment and partially supported for the rent of the classroom premises for a period of 11 months from Aug’22 to Jun’23.
With this 11 month period ending in Jun’23, Batighar Pathshala has approach RCCP to support them for another 12 months. RCCP to part fund their monthly rent by contributing Rs 5,000 for the next 12 months
This will serve the following -
A. Provide basic classroom infrastructure and access to modern learning channels to 40-45 school-going children in the age group of 6-17
B. Keep the children engaged in studies and other performing arts activities by providing a safe and clean learning place
