Rotary Adult Literacy Centre, Gobindapur
RC Purulia always worked for the welfare of the community since its inception in the year 1968. One of the eminent project is to eliminate illiteracy in Purulia. To meet this mission the club has always provided scholarship to the needy and meritorious students of Purulia. The club has come up with a plan to educate the adult people of Purulia and to fulfill it we have established an Adult Literacy Centre at Nilkuthidanga, Purulia in association with Sri Sarada Sangha, Purulia. Now on 04th March 2024 another Adult Literacy Centre was inaugurated at Gobindpur, Manbazar, Purulia. 02 teachers and 16 students have enrolled themselves in the school.
