End Thalassemia Now Run
The Club participated in End Thalassemia Now Run which was a 5km run organised by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and NGO - Lets Celebrate Fitness. The run was done to spread awareness about Thalassemia in local community and encourage people to donate blood regularly. The run saw participation of more than 500 rotarians and community members. It created awareness about prevention of new thalassemia cases, need for regular blood donation, encouraged fund raising, and motivated people to keep fit and exercise regulary.
